Min Requirements- Requires 1 to 3 yrs of trades training or an associate degree from a technical college- Calculate figures and amounts such as cutting speeds and feeds, percentages, area, and circumference- Small hand and power tools- A wide variety of precision measuring devices- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists- Lift equipment- 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible related skills or a combination of education and experience- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form- Use heat-treating equipment- Read and interpret basic and standard documents such as blueprints, schematics, work plans, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions- Set up and operate all standard machine shop tools such as lathes, mills, drills, and grinders- The expertise to operate welding and torching equipment- Communicate effectively with other employees of the organization- Apply concepts of basic algebra, trigonometry and geometryWorking hours
